File for a trademark

How to file for a danish trademark

If you wish to file a trademark application in Denmark, send your application to the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. The quickest and easiest way to file an application is online, where you can pay the application fee directly. Otherwise you can download an application form and send it by e-mail, fax or post. You can also get the application form by visiting our office or phoning our Customer Service.

If the application is filed in English, it should be accompanied by a Danish version of the list of goods and services. There is no requirement to appoint a representative in Denmark. However, in certain cases the examination office may invite the applicant to appoint a representative.

When a national application is filed, it receives an application number, and a receipt is issued. If the fee is not paid along with the application, an invoice with the application number is sent, and a one-month respite is granted. The application fee amounts to DKK 2,350.-, which includes three classes. Additional classes are DKK 600 each. See the price list for further information.
