Availability search in DK
A trademark search will disclose both registered trademarks and trademarks applied for, names of businesses, most used tdl-domains and family names which may be a hindrance to the use of a trademark.
Use a trademark search to:
- Obtain a solid basis for decision making before introducing a trademark in the market
- Obtain an overview of similar trademarks, company names, family names and identical domain names in the market
- Determine whether there is a risk of infringing the rights of others
- Find out if you can obtain a domain name which matches your trademark
- Get an idea of the strength and uniqueness of your trademark
- Determine if it is possible to obtain protection for your trademark
Product characteristics
Our trademark search will reveal any trademark applications and registered trademarks, company names and family names which we believe could be a hindrance for the utilization of your trademark. It will be for you to determine whether the hindrances constitute a real impediment to trademark. Our search also reveals identical trademarks regardless of their classes and domain names regardless of their field in order to bring to light any barriers to commercial utilization of the trademark.
We conduct the trademark search on your trademark in several databases (including commercial databases) and registers.
You will receive a report which includes:
- Search results comprising a list of the rights of other parties
- Guidelines for evaluating the search results

Information on where and how the search has been conducted and documentation of the rights retrieved
Delivery
Delivery is normally within 5 working days. Urgent delivery may be arranged at additional cost.
Price
The price of a trademark search comprising 3 classes is DKK 4,200.
Additional classes cost DKK 500 per 10 classes.
Prices are exclusive of VAT.
