International IP Organisations

Nordic Patent Institute (NPI)

Cooperation between

European patent office (EPO) Provides a uniform application procedure for seeking patent protection in up to 38 European countries. The website contains databases, a large collection of links etc.
World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)

 

WIPO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that works to develop a balanced and accessible international IP system. WIPO administers several international treaties on IPR.

OHIM-Office for Harmonization in the Internal market (Trademarks and Designs)
OHIM is the European Union agency responsible for registering Community Trademarks and Designs valid in all 27 countries of the European Union. The website contains access to legal texts, caselaw, links etc.
