International Projects in the Danish Patent and Trademark Office
The significance of Intellectual Property both as a commodity and as an object of forgery is on the rise. The issues have a global significance and a national impact and should be countered pro-actively. This is why it is an integral part of the DKPTO's strategy to participate in capacity building projects around the globe.
Our competencies include the whole spectrum of IP rights that we have in the Office: patents, utility models, trademarks and designs. The Office has experience in assisting other patent and trademark offices streamline their daily business. We work at all levels in the organisation: from top management strategy development to classroom and on-the-job training for examiners.
In the fields of enforcement of IP rights and promoting growth and innovation, a growing number of countries realise that it is essential to cooperate with other stakeholders. As a result of this, DKPTO has built up a strong network of experts from Denmark and other countries with experience from police, customs and private rightholders. We believe it is important to provide trainers who know their subject from their daily work.
