Interagency Cooperation
Any investigation of an IPR offence involves several public and private institutions, each of them playing an equally important role. Each player is able to bring essential information to the table and this is why an interagency approach is often required in order to conduct a successful investigation. Therefore, activities that strengthen interagency cooperation are at the core in our enforcement projects.
We have expertise in developing interagency cooperation activities such as: conferences, development of interagency work-flows, development of cooperation frameworks and interagency databases.
We draw on our extensive network of national and international consultants from customs, police, judiciary and private rightholders. These experts have specifically worked with coordination and cooperation aspects of IPR enforcement in national or international IP institutions.
Projects that involved extensive work with interagency cooperation are Poland, Romania, Turkey and Croatia.
