IP Awareness
Awareness-raising is an integral part of DKPTO´s daily work and we have a number of professionals employed who work as consultants on awareness raising activities.
Awareness-raising is important to spread the message to the business environment of utilising IP in their business development process as a tool to support economic growth.
Awareness-raising is also a tool in the fight against IPR crime. It is important to raise the awareness among consumers on the possibilities and the risks in buying counterfeit goods, in particular when it concerns public health and safety and its relations to organised crime.
The Danish Patent and Trademark Office has designed awareness raising campaigns in Malta and Romania.
In Malta, DKPTO developed an awareness raising campaign in cooperation with the Maltese IPR authorities. The work resulted in the design of five TV trailers with different target groups and angles.
