Continuation of PPH with USPTO
By Barbara Suhr-Jessen, 27-10-2009
On 3 November 2008 we commenced a one-year Patent Prosecution Highway pilot project (PPH) with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) which enabled applicants whose claims have been determined allowable in a patent application filed at one of the two offices to have the corresponding application filed at the other office advanced out of turn for examination.
Following the initial trial period, the DKPTO and the USPTO have agreed to extend the pilot program in its current state in order to collect more information before any formal decision on the program is made.
More information and guidelines to the use of our various PPH programs is available here.
