DKPTO Director General is a candidate for EPO presidency
Earlier this year EPO president Alison Brimelow announced that she will not extend her current presidential period when it expires in June 2010. The search for a new president for EPO has started, and Lene Espersen, Danish Minister of Economic and Business Affairs, has written to the ministries of other EPO member states that Jesper Kongstad, Director General of the DKPTO, is Denmark's candidate. The new president is expected to be announced within the coming six months.
