TM view - free access to more than 5 mio trade marks
OHIM in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Offices in Benelux, Czech, Danish, Italian, Portuguese and United Kingdom as well as World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), has been working on a project to pool data on trade mark information and facilitate its accessibility for users.
The new tool known as TMview was launched on 13th April 2010 and is accessible free of charge at: www.tmview.europa.eu
TMview is a new Internet platform that provides access from a single place to trade mark information from national, international and European Community databases, in total more than 5 million trade marks. Anybody interested in checking the availability of a trade mark can do so with this all-in-one trade mark search tool covering data from all the participating official trade mark offices and making it available free of charge.
We would like to invite you to have a look at this first time ever available search tool that will enable businesses worldwide to consult all European relevant trade mark data. If you find it useful we would be pleased if you put a link to TMview on your own website or place a news item or article in your newsletter.
We hope that this initiative responds to the needs and expectations of the user community.
