Limited access to the Danish Patent and Trademark Office and our systems

Published 20-08-2026

As part of the upcoming relocation of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office to Langelinie Allé, a number of additional IT maintenance windows have been scheduled in August and September. This means that during certain periods, you will have limited access to the Danish Patent and Trademark Office's systems and, in some cases, to our staff as well.

On 24 August 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, all communication with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office will be suspended. You will not be able to contact us by phone nor by email. Some of our self-service solutions will also be unavailable during this period.

You may still send emails to the Danish Patent and Trademark Office during the maintenance windows, but please note that we will not receive them until the systems are back online. You should therefore expect longer response times.

On 31 August 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, some of our self-service solutions will be unavailable. However, you will still be able to contact us by both email and phone.

On 21 September 2026, from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight), some of our self-service solutions will be unavailable. However, you will still be able to contact us by both email and phone.

The Danish Patent and Trademark Office's website will not be affected the IT maintenance windows. You can therefore stay informed about the status and availability of our systems here.
