Recertification in place for the DKPTO

Published 22-09-2020

The Danish Patent and Trademark Office has, after a slight delay due to COVID-19, achieved recertification according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

The recertification includes a reassessment of the DKPTO’s documented quality management system and the continued fulfillment of the requirements in relation to granting and registering of patents, utility models, trademarks and design rights as well as delivering IP related commercial services.

The Danish Patent and Trademark Office has been ISO certified since 2005. “The certification shows that we deliver a consistent quality in our services and working processes. And that is something our customers value and demand”, Quality Assurance Manager Kirstina Hagerup says.

The next planned audit of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office will take place in February 2021.
